Multi-channel analysis of surface waves
Easy MASW is a comprehensive application that provides you with a simple means of viewing, analyzing and intepreting seismic data using the MASW method (Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves).
The analysis is performed with the spectral investigation of the signal produced by Rayleigh waves. After assigning an initial geotechnical model characterized by values such as poisson's ratio, weight per unit and volume, you can obtain the theoretical inversion curves.
Easy MASW is especially intended for geophysics who observe the behavior of waves, which can be generated through the use of hammers, explosions and more.
The application performs the analysis of the dispersion curve using the double discrete Fourier transform method. With the help of Easy MASW you have the possibility to define a preliminary model of the terrain so you can visualize the dispersions directly on the processed spectrum of velocity-frequency.
